| Trends Watch in Denim Wear Spring Summer '09 |
Jeans - or Denims - have been here for hundreds of years. Having
fascinated the poor and the rich alike, denim wear has survived fashion trends and technology
changes unlike any other clothing material.
However, it is not possible to not have some thing new and something different happening with denim
apparel. Let us take a look at what has been happening and is forecast to happen - in the world of

Joop! Jeans Spring / Summer 2009 at Berlin Fashion Week |
 Joops! Jeans presented the spring/summer collection at Berlin Fashion
week “Electroma”. The collection for men focuses on the metamorphosis from robot to human. The
slim drainpipe jeans, shirts sporting Asian embroidery and karate belts showed a strong impact of
patent & latex, a partially unconventional look.
The women's collection “Supersonic Geisha” consisted of jeans with oversized blouses,
kimonoesque draped clothes, latex minis and casual tunics. |
