InDIGO is the ONE and ONLY denim trade event in Asia, conceived to cover the entire denim value chain, from fiber to finished products, and provide an unmatched opportunity to all stake holders and segment leaders, from across the globe to show-case their offerings to a large gathering of professionals. InDIGO is organized by Denim Club. The two editions of InDIGO, organized in 2012 and 2013, have been highly acclaimed by the industry as the need of the hour. In a short span of time, InDIGO has established itself as the the flag-ship denim B2B expo in Asia, with international participation, and presence and association of leaders and icons from the denim business and industry from India and other Asian countries.
After the grand success of the first two editions, Denim Club is all set to organize the third edition of InDIGO. The upcoming edition promises to be still bigger, better and more comprehensive than the previous editions. Denim Club is aiming at increased international participation, greater coverage of various segments of denim value chain. Moreover, the event is proposed to be held over three days, instead of two, to enable the exhibitors and visitors to get more benefit out of the event.
The second edition of InDIGO, organized on 19-20 April, 2013, was bigger and better than the first edition, and covered the denim value chain much more comprehensively. Denim Club created history yet another time by setting up a fully operational state-of-the-art denim jeans manufacturing line during the show, something which has never been attempted before in any B2B show, across the globe.
InDIGO 2013 has set a new global benchmark for all other denim shows in the world by installing a live jeans factory and producing jeans during the show.
The exclusive denim B2B expo was visited by representatives of around 300 companies, including business owners and senior decision makers.
August 30th, 2012, entered the annals of Indian Textile History as Denim Club India played host to the maiden event focused entirely on the Denim Industry at InDIGO 2012. An event that had received a ‘raised-eyebrow-reaction’ from the sceptics, received surprisingly warm and enthusiastic accolades from the participants, exhibitors and visitors, alike.
It was a modest effort, made with a firm resolve and a clear vision, and the industry more than endorsed the effort by its open-arm reaction. The general consensus was that this was a much needed platform, and one that should be offered more often to enable the industry to showcase their strengths and debate their shortcomings, with a view to seek solutions.
The event, held on 30-31 August, 2012, was a grand success, fulfilling the primary objective of helping meet the needs of the fast-growing denim industry and a rapidly evolving denim-wear market, by enabling all the stakeholders in the entire denim eco-system in coming together on a single platform for networking, exchange of ideas, sharing of current experiences and vision for the future.
