Denim Club India draws its strength from its large network of business and industrial houses dealing in denim and denim products, its direct connectivity with various educational institutes imparting technology, fashion and design education, and a large number of technicians, designers and professionals in the textile, apparel, and retail industry, in India and abroad.

Denim Club India offers a wide spectrum of various conventional and non-conventional services to the corporate - utilizing the existing network, and its synergy in many innovative ways - to accomplish goals which have not even been thought of earlier.

The core objetive of DCI's various activities is to explore and highlight the growth opportunities that exist in the field of denim, and enable the denim industry and denim professionals to benefit from the same.
DCI Pool of Denim Merchandisers
Globalization of Indian economy and the retail revolution have transformed the textile and apparel industry in India. This has also resulted in a strongly felt shortage of qualified and skilled professionals in textile and apparel industry. This holds true for the fast-growing denim industry in India as well.

The denim production - both denim fabric and denim apparel - has been growing at very fast pace in India. Working with Denim requires a lot more than general knowledge, becuase of the very typical characteristics of denim fabric, and the specilaized processing and finishing techniques require a completely different set of skills and knowledge.

Today, the denim segment in textile/apparel industry very strongly needs to consolidate and develop its human resource base, and Denim Club India's Denim Merchandiser's Pool is a step in that direction....
DCI Industry Institute Interface
The I3 Plan by Denim Club India is a serious and farsighted attempt to bring together the Denim Industry and Institutes offering courses in textile, fashion, design and apparel fields - with the objective of enabling students of textile, apparel, fashion, and design streams to get opportunities to work directly with the denim industry - guided by seasoned denim technicians and denim professionals - in a systematic and organized way.

Denim Club India offers to simplify the process of involving students interested in working with denim, with the denim industry, by way of offering guidance in identifying denim related research projects and co-ordinating with the faculty in institutes and managers in industry.

The Denim I3 Plan by Denim Club India will help the industry in a major way in nurturing talent and developing a strong base of denim professionals for the future.
Directory of Denim Mills in India
India started off a little late in indigenous production of denim cloth, and we do not have a very long history of denim production in India.

However, in the recent years, denim production capacity in India has grown very fast, and as of now we have more than 20 denim mills or manufacturers in the country, with an installed capacity of more than 600 million metres of denim fabric, per annum.

Denim Club India was the first one to compile a complete list or directory of the denim cloth manufacturers [mills], along with the details of the installed capacity, location, and range of denim fabrics being offered by them.
Denim Jeans / Apparel Brands in India
Jeans - the working class garment - has something about it which has fascinated the poor and the rich alike, and has survived fashion trends and technology changes for over a century.

The jeans-wear market in India is pegged at approximately Rs. 6,000 Crores* — the bulk of which is currently in the un-branded segment. However the arrival in India of top international brands has redefined the market, and the branded segment is also growing at a fast pace.

Here is a listing of various Indian and International Denim Jeans/Apparel brands available in India.
